Placements24 is seeking a skilled Telecoms Network Implementation Engineer to join their remote deployment team from Soweto. You will deploy, configure, and test network hardware and software across client environments, collaborating virtually to ensure timely project delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years experience in network implementation, with TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and VPN knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 3+ years in network implementation, configuration, or support.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and commission routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs.
• Execute implementation plans according to design specifications and timelines.
• Test and validate new network components and services.
• Troubleshoot issues during implementation and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deployed equipment and configurations.
