Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years experience in network implementation, with TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and VPN knowledge.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Telecoms Network Implementation Engineer to join their technical deployment team. This role is integral to bringing new network solutions and upgrades to life, operating within a fully remote framework. You will be responsible for the hands-on deployment, configuration, and testing of network hardware and software across various client environments. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, meticulous in execution, and excels at collaborating virtually to ensure the successful and timely implementation of complex telecommunications projects, directly impacting service delivery for our expanding customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and commission network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Execute network implementation plans and configurations according to design specifications and project timelines.
• Perform thorough testing and validation of newly implemented network components and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the implementation phase, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all deployed equipment, configurations, and implementation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network implementation , configuration, or support roles.
• Proficiency with network hardware from major vendors and experience with network operating systems.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and VPNs.
• Strong remote collaboration, problem-solving, and time management skills.
