Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Telecommunications Systems Analyst to join a fully remote team operating from George. You will analyze VoIP, mobile, and data networks, identify optimization opportunities, and evaluate new technologies to align with business needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least 5 years of telecom analysis experience, with strong analytical and reporting abilities. Remote-first environment, with flexible hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications analysis and system management.
• Strong understanding of VoIP, mobile communications, and data networking principles.
• Experience with telecom vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current telecommunications systems to identify performance issues and optimization opportunities.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new telecommunications technologies and solutions.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams and configurations.
• Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts and manage SLAs.
• Assist in planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and installations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex telecommunications issues.
