Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to produce clear and concise manuals, API references, guides and other documentation for our products and services. This fully remote role involves collaborating with engineering, product and support teams to translate complex technical topics into accessible content.

You will develop user manuals, API references and release notes while maintaining documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer with a portfolio of technical writing samples.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong English grammar and style.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear language.
• Experience with documentation tools and technologies (MadCap Flare, Confluence, Markdown, Git).
• Strong research skills and independent collaboration with SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and maintain user guides, API references, release notes and online help content.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and SMEs to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Organize information logically for different audiences.
• Develop and adhere to documentation standards and style guides.
• Manage documentation projects and ensure timely delivery of content.
• Review and update existing documentation to reflect product changes.
