Qualifications

Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the automotive domain or with complex technical products.
Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong grammar and style.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Proficiency with documentation tools and content management systems (MadCap Flare, Confluence, Git).
Strong research skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

Research, write, edit, and maintain user manuals, installation guides, service bulletins, and online help articles.
Collaborate with SMEs across engineering, product development, and customer support to gather information and ensure accuracy.
Organize and structure complex information for diverse audiences.
Ensure documentation adheres to style guides, branding, and regulatory requirements.
Manage the documentation lifecycle, including updates, revisions, and version control.
Review and test product features to ensure documentation reflects functionality.
