Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will leverage tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience and ability to carry a quota.
• 2 years in SDR/BDR role or similar.
• Strong written communication and personalization skills.
• Familiar with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
