Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Technical Artist to bridge art and technology for innovative game projects. This fully remote role focuses on optimizing assets, building efficient pipelines, and ensuring seamless engine integration with Unity or Unreal.

The ideal candidate combines artistic sense with technical constraint understanding and has a track record of solving complex problems in real-time graphics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Game Design, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in game development.

Responsibilities

• Optimize 3D models, textures, and animations for real-time rendering in game engines.
• Develop and maintain art pipelines, scripts, and tools to improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with programmers to implement and debug shaders, materials, and VFX.
• Troubleshoot technical art issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical guidance to artists and ensure assets meet project requirements.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance visual fidelity and performance.
