Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Artist or similar role.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter).
• Strong knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL, C#).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills for effective remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Optimize 3D models, textures, and animations for real-time performance within game engines.
• Develop and maintain shaders, materials, and lighting setups to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
• Create custom tools and scripts to streamline art pipelines and improve artist efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical art issues encountered during development.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement and test new engine features and art workflows.
