Placements24 is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a rapidly growing fintech company operating a remote-first model. You will manage tech sourcing, software licenses, and professional services, aligning procurement with strategic goals and budgets.

You will negotiate contracts, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure compliance across regions including Mahikeng and the North West province. This role requires 5+ years in tech procurement and strong remote collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in procurement, tech sourcing and IT procurement.
• Proven contract negotiation and vendor management experience.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud services.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Experience with procurement software and ERP tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing for technology hardware, software, and IT services.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes from supplier selection to contract execution.
• Build strong relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and SLAs to maximize value.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and finance to align procurement with budgets.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor information.
