About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent and self-motivated Remote Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our client's systems, all performed from a remote location. You will be responsible for server maintenance, user support, network management, and implementing IT policies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with various operating systems, cloud technologies, and proactive problem-solving, operating autonomously to keep critical systems running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual) across various operating systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure system security.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Provide remote technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Oversee network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend system improvements and upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator .
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
