Placements24 is seeking a remote Supply Chain Optimization Engineer to design, model, and refine logistics and inventory strategies from anywhere. This role directly impacts efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the value chain.

The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree in a quantitative field, 5+ years of optimization experience, and hands-on use of AnyLogic or Arena with optimization solvers. Strong analytics and remote collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain optimization, logistics engineering, or operations research.
• Experience with supply chain modeling and simulation tools (AnyLogic, Arena) and optimization solvers.
• Strong analytical, data mining, and statistical analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current supply chain processes to identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies for inventory management, demand forecasting, and network design.
• Utilize optimization software and modeling techniques to improve logistics and warehousing.
• Collaborate virtually with internal teams and external partners to execute initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and report progress to identify further optimization opportunities.
