Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Subsurface Analyst to support global exploration, development, and production initiatives. The role focuses on integrating geological, geophysical, and engineering data to deliver timely subsurface insights from a remote, virtual team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in a relevant Earth Science field with 6+ years of subsurface experience and proficiency in Petrel, Kingdom, and ArcGIS.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• 6+ years of subsurface analysis experience in oil and gas.
• Proficiency in geological/geophysical interpretation software (Petrel, Kingdom, ArcGIS).

Responsibilities

• Integrate and interpret geological, geophysical, and engineering data to build subsurface models.
• Analyze seismic data, well logs, and core data to assess reservoir potential.
• Perform volumetric calculations and uncertainty assessments for hydrocarbons.
