Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Geoscience Data Analyst for a global Oil & Gas exploration client. You will manage, process, and interpret large geological and geophysical datasets to support exploration initiatives from a fully remote setup.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, Bachelor's in a relevant field, proficiency with Petrel, ArcGIS, Python and SQL, and the ability to collaborate with international teams. AWS/Azure experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience analyzing geological and geophysical data.
• Proficiency with Petrel, ArcGIS, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze large geological and geophysical datasets.
• Quality control and maintain databases for exploration data.
• Use Python, SQL, and visualization tools for analysis.
• Collaborate remotely with international geoscience teams.
• Generate reports, maps, and visualizations to support decisions.
• Assist in interpretation of subsurface data to identify prospects.
• Ensure data management best practices and security.
