Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Subsea Engineer to join our client’s team in the Oil & Gas sector. You will contribute to design, analysis, and implementation of subsea production systems from a remote location, supporting global project teams to ensure safe and cost-efficient field developments.
The role emphasizes subsea hardware, installation methods, and integrity management with strong emphasis on remote collaboration across disciplines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Ocean, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of subsea engineering experience in offshore Oil & Gas.
- Proficiency in subsea system design and analysis software.
- Strong understanding of subsea hardware, installation methods, and integrity management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration for remote teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and specify subsea equipment including trees, manifolds, risers, and flowlines.
- Develop and review subsea engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, client specs, and regulatory requirements.
