Placements24 is seeking a proactive and analytical Remote Sourcing Specialist to join our fully remote procurement team. You will identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to support diverse business needs from home, leveraging digital collaboration tools to connect with stakeholders and partners.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in sourcing or procurement, a relevant degree, strong negotiation and contract management skills, and a proven track record of delivering cost savings and supplier

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Remote Sourcing Specialist to join their fully remote procurement team. This role is critical in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers to support various business needs. You will conduct in-depth market research, assess supplier capabilities, and negotiate terms to secure the best value for the company. Working from home, you will leverage digital collaboration tools to connect with internal stakeholders and external partners, driving sourcing initiatives that contribute to cost savings and supply chain resilience. Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers through extensive market research and industry analysis.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, financial stability, and compliance with company standards.
• Lead sourcing projects, including the development of RFPs/RFQs and the evaluation of proposals.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service levels with new and existing suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their sourcing requirements and provide expert advice.
• Manage supplier onboarding processes and ensure timely execution of contracts.
