Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Sourcing Specialist to drive strategic sourcing initiatives globally, identifying, evaluating and onboarding new suppliers to boost competitiveness and resilience. You will optimize supplier performance and manage risk across categories.

You will conduct thorough market research, lead RFx events, negotiate terms, and collaborate with legal and finance to finalize contracts, while maintaining strong virtual relationships in an international, fully remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Sourcing Specialist to drive their strategic sourcing initiatives globally. This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers to enhance competitiveness and ensure supply chain resilience. You will conduct thorough market research, lead sourcing events, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet specific sourcing objectives. Operating remotely, you must possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships virtually, contributing to a best-in-class global procurement function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects for various indirect and direct spend categories.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis, supplier research, and pre-qualification processes.
• Develop and execute RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) processes to solicit proposals from potential suppliers.
• Analyze supplier proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and recommend supplier selection.
• Manage supplier onboarding and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams on contract finalization.

Requirements
