Placements24 is seeking a Remote Solar PV Systems Analyst to join a fully remote team. The role focuses on assessing performance, feasibility, and financial viability of solar PV installations worldwide using PVsyst, Helioscope, or SAM.

You will conduct site analyses, generate reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate scoping and execution in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• 5+ years in analysis and design of solar PV systems.
• Proficiency with PVsyst, Helioscope or SAM for simulations.
• Strong understanding of PV modules, inverters and BOS components.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and financial analyses of solar PV systems using standard software.
• Analyze site data (irradiance, shading) to optimize design and yield predictions.
• Evaluate performance of existing installations and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations with designs, energy production estimates and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and project teams in a fully remote setting.
• Stay updated on solar PV tech, market trends and regulatory changes.
• Provide guidance to clients and internal teams on system design and performance.
• Develop and refine analytical tools and methodologies.
• Manage multiple projects with timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Maintain meticulous records of all analyses.
