Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Social Impact Coordinator to drive social change in Vereeniging, Gauteng and beyond. This fully remote role requires proactive management of community initiatives and partnerships while leveraging digital tools to monitor impact.

You will develop, implement, and manage projects to improve social well-being, coordinate timelines and budgets, and report outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, International Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in coordination, program management, or community development, preferably with a focus on social impact.
• Excellent remote project management and organizational skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and reporting capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in digital content creation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and implementation of social impact programs.
• Conduct research to identify community needs.
• Build relationships with NGOs and stakeholders remotely.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Create content for communication and advocacy related to social impact initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and report metrics.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and engagement sessions for community members and partners.
• Liaise with internal teams to align social impact goals with organizational objectives.
• Manage online platforms and social media channels to promote social impact activities.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in social impact and community development.
