About the Role

Our client, a dynamic social enterprise focused on driving positive change, is seeking a highly organized and passionate Remote Social Impact Coordinator. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to contribute to our mission from anywhere, while focusing on initiatives that benefit the Stellenbosch, Western Cape community and beyond. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing projects that align with our social impact goals, engaging stakeholders, and measuring the effectiveness of our programs. This role demands excellent project management skills, strong communication capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning, execution, and monitoring of various social impact projects.
• Engage and build relationships with community partners, non-profits, and local stakeholders in the Stellenbosch area.
• Develop compelling content and communications to raise awareness about our initiatives.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and impact metrics for all social programs.
• Prepare regular reports on project progress, outcomes, and challenges for senior management.
• Research and identify new opportunities for social impact and partnership development.
• Organize and facilitate virtual meetings, workshops, and events.
• Manage project budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate social impact goals into broader organizational strategies.
• Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in social impact and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project coordination, program management, or social impact initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing and presentation.
• Strong understanding of social impact principles, measurement frameworks, and evaluation methods.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
