RWS invites freelancers to join a short project aimed at evaluating and improving AI speech recognition and conversational systems by collecting spontaneous speech from real-life situations.

You will record natural speech, annotate data, and submit metadata via an online platform. The work is flexible, remote, with about 2–4 hours daily, starting immediately, and paid at 8 USD per hour. No fixed term; perfect for language enthusiasts seeking practical AI data collection experience.

Competenze

• Native-level fluency in Setswana
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions
• Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own

Mansioni

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with the project guidelines
• Participate in or capture speech from approved real-life situations
• Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or participate in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system
• Annotate collected speech data according to the instructions provided
• Provide the required information and metadata related to each recording
