Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Warehouse Manager for a fully remote role overseeing operations across multiple sites in South Africa. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, SOP development, and data-driven performance improvements to optimize inventory, costs, and safety.

You will lead both remote and on-site teams, drive KPIs, and implement best practices in warehouse technology and process efficiency, with strong emphasis on cost control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in warehouse and logistics management.
• Experience leading multi-site operations.
• Proven ability to manage remotely with data-driven insights.
• Proficiency with WMS and related logistics technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic remote leadership for warehouse operations across multiple sites.
• Develop and implement SOPs for all warehouse functions.
• Monitor KPIs and analyze data to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory control, minimize shrinkage, and optimize stock levels.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for savings.
• Lead, mentor, and develop remote and on-site warehouse teams.
