Placements24 invites a Senior Telecoms Network Architect to lead the design and strategic planning of next-generation telecom infrastructure. This role is fully remote, enabling global collaboration and influencing technology direction from anywhere.

You will translate complex business needs into robust network blueprints, evaluate emerging technologies, and guide implementation teams across routing, switching, MPLS, SD-WAN and cloud networking.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in telecom network design and architecture.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN and cloud networking.
• Proven ability to design highly available and fault-tolerant networks.
• Strong security fundamentals and strategic leadership for remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of large-scale telecom networks across routing, switching, wireless and optical domains.
• Create and maintain high- and low-level design documentation and IP addressing schemes.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendor products to enhance network capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and product teams to align strategy and architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering teams.
• Perform architectural reviews, performance analysis and capacity planning for future evolution.
