Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Telecom Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of advanced telecom solutions. This role operates remotely from your home office, guiding technical teams and translating business requirements into robust architectures for global stakeholders.

You will design end-to-end solutions across network, compute, storage and cloud, collaborate with sales and engineering, and mentor staff through deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex telecommunications solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of network architectures (SDN, NFV), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization.
• Expertise in 5G, IoT, enterprise networking, and unified communications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and conceptually.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical solutions for telecom services, encompassing network, compute, storage, and cloud elements.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to define solution requirements and roadmaps.
• Develop detailed architecture designs, including network diagrams, component specifications, and integration strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance service offerings and competitive advantage.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during the implementation and deployment phases.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and proof-of-concept initiatives for new service offerings, fully remotely.
