Placements24 seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of complex structures on a fully remote basis. You will guide projects from concept through documentation, using advanced modeling and FEA techniques while coordinating with distributed teams worldwide.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive structural experience, strong leadership, seismic design knowledge, and excellent virtual collaboration skills across clients in diverse regions, including Vereeniging.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering.
• Expertise in seismic design principles, steel and concrete structures.
• Experience leading remote design teams and clients globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis of diverse building projects.
• Develop innovative structural solutions with advanced modeling.
• Mentor junior engineers and design teams remotely.
• Conduct peer reviews of designs and calculations.
• Prepare structural reports, specifications, and tender documents.
