Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis for a variety of building projects, ensuring compliance with SANS codes and international standards.
• Perform complex structural calculations and simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Revit Structure).
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and design reports.
• Collaborate effectively with remote architectural and engineering teams, clients, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
• Review contractor submittals and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Conduct site visits (if feasible and required by project scope) or liaise with site personnel for clarification and problem-solving.
• Mentor and guide junior structural engineers, fostering their technical development.

• Stay current with advancements in structural engineering practices, materials, and technologies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
