Job summary

AppLogic Networks seeks a highly driven Senior Sales Engineer II to lead technical pre-sales across Africa. You will solve complex challenges, prototype with our AI Lab, and translate business needs into scalable architectures for customers.

You will champion PoCs, engage executives, and collaborate with product, R&D, and customer experience teams to drive revenue growth and customer success. This role is fully remote with travel across Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in pre-sales, solution engineering, or sales engineering in telecommunications, networking, security, or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience delivering customer-facing PoCs and prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Own pre-sales activities for assigned accounts and territories across Africa.
• Partner with Account Managers to develop growth strategies.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for AppLogic Networks solutions.
• Create solution architectures, BOMs, and sales quotations.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with strong technical responses.
• Articulate business outcomes and ROI through technical storytelling.
• Be the voice of the customer to Product Management, R&D and CX teams.
• Stay ahead of networking, AI, cloud, security trends and lead thought leadership.
