Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a dynamic, international hotel group in recruiting a Senior Revenue Manager for a fully remote role within South Africa. You will optimize room revenue, market share, and pricing strategies, leveraging data and RM software to drive decisions.

Strong communication and self-management are essential to succeed in a remote setting. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations, prepare forecasts, and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in revenue management, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in revenue management software (IDeaS, Duetto) and PMS systems.
• Understanding of hotel operations and distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic revenue management plans to maximize room revenue and RevPAR.
• Analyze market data, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to inform pricing and inventory strategies.
• Manage room inventory across all distribution channels, ensuring optimal availability and pricing.
• Prepare regular reports and forecasts on revenue performance and market share.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align strategies and drive goals.
• Conduct pricing and strategy reviews and adjust to market dynamics.
• Leverage RM systems to identify opportunities and risks.
• Provide guidance to property teams on revenue management best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
