Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven track record of revenue growth through RM strategies.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills in data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
• Conduct market analysis, forecasting, and competitor research to identify revenue opportunities and risks.
• Implement dynamic pricing across channels to maintain profitability.

About the Role

Our client, a leading international hospitality group with a strong presence in South Africa, is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Remote Senior Revenue Manager. This position is crucial for optimizing revenue generation and maximizing profitability across a portfolio of properties. You will leverage data-driven insights to develop and implement effective pricing, inventory management, and distribution strategies. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa, with a primary focus on supporting operations and driving performance for properties in various regions, including Rustenburg, North West . The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of revenue management principles, advanced analytical skills, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
• Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitor research, and forecasting to identify revenue opportunities and risks.
• Implement dynamic pricing strategies across all distribution channels, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
• Manage inventory and channel distribution to maximize reach and revenue capture.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams, providing remote guidance and support.
• Utilize revenue management systems and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
• Develop and deliver remote presentations to management on revenue performance, strategies, and forecasts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in revenue management.
• Train and mentor junior revenue management staff remotely.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of company-wide revenue management policies and procedures.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing revenue management strategies and achieving significant revenue growth.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in revenue management software (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto) and property management systems (PMS).
• Excellent remote communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
• A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Experience supporting properties in South Africa, particularly within regions like North West , is a strong asset.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
