Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail inventory management, analysis, or supply chain roles.
• Proven expertise in inventory analysis, forecasting, and demand planning.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data to identify trends across multiple retail locations.
• Develop and refine inventory forecasting models to optimize stock levels.
• Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage.
• Collaborate with supply chain, merchandising, and store operations teams to align inventory strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and reporting.
• Develop and generate regular inventory performance reports and dashboards for management.
• Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize stock replenishment strategies to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of inventory management systems and recommend enhancements.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in inventory management.
