Placements24 seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join a fully remote team supporting operations in Benoni and beyond. You will forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and implement strategies to minimize carrying costs across distributed locations.

You will leverage data analysis to forecast trends, monitor accuracy, and collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics to drive efficiency and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Inventory Analyst or similar role.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of supply chain principles and inventory control.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Effective remote communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, identify stock trends, and optimize stock levels.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to reduce carrying costs and prevent stockouts.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through regular data reconciliation and reporting.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives.
