Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join its fully remote team in South Africa. You will lead complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring strategic alignment, stakeholder satisfaction, and strict adherence to budgets and timelines.

You will coordinate distributed teams across the country, applying Agile and Waterfall methodologies, managing risks, and delivering clear status reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience leading complex projects.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed remote-friendly project plans with scope, timelines, and resources.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and apply cost-control measures.
• Identify and mitigate risks with contingency plans.
• Foster communication among distributed teams using virtual tools.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management on progress and risks.
