Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a remote-first environment in Gauteng, South Africa. This pivotal role oversees production, quality, and delivery, developing strategic plans and optimizing processes across distributed teams.

You will manage production schedules, supply chain, inventory, and a remote team of supervisors, driving continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing and production management.
• 3+ years in senior leadership with remote operations.
• Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Manage production schedules, resources, and workflow to meet forecasts.
• Implement quality control standards and continuous improvement.
• Oversee supply chain and inventory control for efficient material flow.
• Lead and develop a remote team of supervisors and line workers.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
