Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Optimization Engineer for a fully remote role. You will analyze large production datasets, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-driven improvements across global manufacturing sites to boost yield, reduce waste and energy use.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies, running virtual pilots and simulations, documenting SOPs, and presenting findings to leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in process engineering, with a strong emphasis on process optimization and data analysis.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements with measurable cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, Six Sigma methodologies, and DOE (Design of Experiments).
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (Python/R, Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) is highly desirable.

• Analyze large datasets from production sites to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Develop data-driven strategies to improve process yield, reduce waste, and minimize energy consumption.
• Utilize statistical methods and process modeling to diagnose operational challenges.
• Collaborate remotely with plant engineers, R&D teams, and operations managers worldwide to implement improvements.
• Design and oversee virtual pilot studies and simulations to test new concepts.
• Maintain robust process documentation including SOPs and best practices.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership via virtual channels.
• Stay current with cutting-edge technologies in process optimization and data analytics.
• Mentor junior engineers in data analysis and process improvement techniques.
• Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
