Qualifications

PhD in Plant Pathology or related field required.
8+ years of progressive plant disease diagnostics, research and management experience.
Strong knowledge of plant diseases and molecular diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose plant diseases using visual, lab, and molecular methods.
Research pathogen biology, epidemiology and host–pathogen interactions.
Develop and validate disease management strategies (biological, chemical, cultural).
Provide expert advice to field teams, researchers and growers.
Collaborate with breeders, agronomists, and data scientists to integrate solutions.
Interpret complex data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Author scientific publications, technical reports, and regulatory documents.
Stay updated on plant pathology and agricultural tech advances.
Contribute to predictive models for disease outbreaks.
