Qualifications

PhD in Plant Pathology, Mycology, Bacteriology, Virology, or related field.
Extensive experience diagnosing plant diseases across crops.
Knowledge of major plant pathogens and their life cycles.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools; molecular diagnostics a plus.
Strong scientific writing and remote communication abilities.
Ability to manage a remote caseload independently.

Responsibilities

Provide remote diagnostic services for plant diseases based on samples and client descriptions.
Develop and implement integrated disease management strategies.
Conduct literature reviews and research on emerging plant diseases.
Offer expert advice and training to farmers and agronomists.
Collaborate with research institutions on disease surveillance.
