Job summary

Unknown company is seeking an experienced Senior Petroleum Engineer to optimize hydrocarbon recovery and manage reservoirs across a global portfolio. The role is fully remote and requires expertise in simulation, production optimization, and economic evaluation to drive project success.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in reservoir engineering, data analytics, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with at least eight years in Oil & Gas and a relevant advanced degree.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in petroleum engineering.
Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel RE, ECLIPSE, CMG).
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and remote-team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement advanced reservoir engineering strategies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
Conduct detailed reservoir characterization and performance analysis using simulation software.
Perform decline curve analysis, material balance calculations, and reserves estimation.
Optimize production rates and injection strategies for oil and gas wells.
Evaluate well intervention and enhancement techniques.
Conduct economic evaluations of development plans and production projects.
Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling and production engineers.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and management recommendations.
Stay updated on technologies and best practices in petroleum engineering.
