Placements24 is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join a remote security team. You will perform comprehensive security assessments of applications, networks, and infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and deliver actionable remediation guidance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with development and operations to embed security across the lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, familiarity with Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and OWASP ZAP, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or CISSP are desirable.
• Experience with Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, OWASP ZAP.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute penetration tests on web and mobile apps, APIs, networks, and cloud environments.
• Identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities using a variety of tools.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and assess potential impact.
• Provide remediation recommendations to development and operations teams.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate security testing processes.
• Stay updated with latest testing techniques and tools.
• Collaborate with security engineers and developers to address vulnerabilities.
• Document findings and generate reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
