Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Penetration Tester for a fully remote role. You will lead complex security assessments across network, web, mobile, and cloud environments, and mentor junior testers.

You will develop testing methodologies, document vulnerabilities, and communicate actionable remediation strategies to clients worldwide. A strong offensive security background and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing and offensive security experience.
• Expertise across network, web, mobile, and cloud testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex penetration tests across network, web, mobile, and cloud environments.
• Develop and refine penetration testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities in client systems and applications.
• Perform threat modeling and risk analysis to guide testing efforts.
• Mentor junior penetration testers with technical guidance and feedback.
• Communicate findings and remediation strategies clearly to clients (technical and non-technical).
• Develop detailed, professional penetration test reports.
• Stay current with offensive security techniques, tools, and threat intelligence.
• Contribute to proprietary tools and scripts; collaborate to improve services.
