Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of motor vehicle claims assessment experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Understanding of policy wordings and coverage assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process motor insurance claims including accident, theft and damage.
• Interpret policy wordings to determine coverage eligibility.
• Investigate claims with claimants, garages and other parties.
• Assess vehicle damage and authorize repairs or settlements.
• Negotiate settlements professionally with claimants and third parties.
• Identify potential fraud or misrepresentation and escalate as needed.
• Maintain records in the claims management system.
• Provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior assessors on complex escalations.
