The ideal candidate has 10+ years in mining leadership, a degree in Mining Engineering or related field, and an MBA or similar qualification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in mining operations, with senior management roles.
- Experience managing remote, multi-site mining operations with diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic planning and execution across multiple mining sites.
- Develop strategies to boost productivity, reduce costs, and improve safety.
- Manage budgets, CAPEX, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
- Lead remote teams of site managers and staff, fostering accountability.
- Analyze data and market trends to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
