Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to join a fully remote global team. You will design, validate, and optimize complex mechanical systems for cutting-edge products, driving architecture decisions and ensuring manufacturability in a remote setting.

You will lead cross‑functional collaboration across time zones, mentor junior engineers, develop system requirements, perform advanced analyses (FEA/CFD), and create thorough documentation, BOMs, and test plans.

Qualificações

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• ≥9 years of progressive experience in mechanical systems design and development.
• Proven ability to excel in a fully remote work environment.
• Expertise in system architecture, design, analysis (FEA/CFD), and integration.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE software and simulation tools.
• Experience with a wide range of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Demonstrated success in leading technical aspects of projects and collaborating in virtual teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote interaction.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, integration, and validation of complex mechanical systems remotely.
• Develop system-level mechanical requirements, architecture, and design specifications.
• Perform advanced analyses (structural, thermal, vibration) using simulation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones via digital platforms.
• Specify components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for mechanical systems and components.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and test reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in mechanical design and development processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and support technical decisions.
