Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our remote team. You will design intricate mechanical systems, create 3D models and drawings, and conduct simulations to ensure performance and manufacturability.

Collaborate with global clients and engineers, manage tasks in a remote setting, and contribute to design standards while delivering high-quality results on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive mechanical design and analysis experience.
• Expertise in 3D CAD and simulation tools.
• Strong remote-working and communication skills.
• Portfolio of complex design projects.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for components and assemblies.
• Perform FEA for stress, thermal, and vibration analysis.
• Collaborate remotely to define requirements and specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, test procedures and user manuals.
• Lead design reviews and optimize designs.
• Research new materials and processes to improve performance and cost.
• Troubleshoot design challenges and propose solutions.
• Manage tasks and deadlines in a remote setting.
• Contribute to design standards and best practices.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders via virtual platforms.
