You will analyze performance data, lead upgrades, create documentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards while mentoring junior staff in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering, with a focus on system integration and optimization.
• Proven experience with MES, SCADA, PLCs, and industrial networks.
• Strong understanding of data acquisition, database management, and reporting within a manufacturing context.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects independently from initiation to completion.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integrated manufacturing systems, including MES, SCADA, and automation controls.
• Analyze system performance data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential failure points.
• Lead projects for system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements to improve operational throughput and data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain system architecture documentation, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate virtually with plant operations, IT departments, and engineering teams globally.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to manufacturing systems.
• Ensure system compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance manufacturing system capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff remotely.
• Develop and implement strategies for system data integrity and reporting accuracy.
