About the Role

Our client is expanding its legal capabilities and seeks a highly experienced Remote Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join their distributed team. This role is critical for supporting complex global transactions, providing strategic legal advice throughout the M&A lifecycle, from due diligence to post-acquisition integration. You will work independently and collaboratively with international deal teams, business leaders, and external counsel. Key Responsibilities

• Lead legal due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and divestitures.

• Coordinate with internal business units and external legal advisors across various jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with 8+ years of progressive experience focused on M&A transactions.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling complex cross-border and domestic M&A deals.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, securities law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
