Placements24 seeks a Senior Insurance Risk Analyst to join a fully remote, national-role team. You will identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks across the insurance portfolio, developing advanced risk models and providing strategic insights to senior management.

The role requires 6+ years in risk analysis, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency in Python, R, or SQL. A Master's in a quantitative field is highly preferred; compensation is executive-level with bonus

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in risk analysis within insurance/financial services.
• Advanced quantitative skills with expertise in statistical modeling and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for risk modeling and analysis.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, markets, and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain risk management frameworks and models for insurance operations.
• Conduct quantitative analysis of financial data to identify, measure, and monitor risk exposures.
• Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate resilience to adverse market conditions.
• Provide expert advice to senior management on risk mitigation strategies and capital allocation.
