Placements24 client seeks a Senior Risk Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will develop risk models, conduct risk assessments, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management to safeguard assets and reputation.

You will identify and quantify operational, financial, and strategic risks, build reporting systems, and communicate insights to executives while staying current with regulatory changes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in risk analysis, financial modeling, or a related role, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Strong quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and risk assessment techniques.
• Experience with analytical tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and quantify operational, financial, and strategic risks.
• Develop and maintain risk models, frameworks, and reporting systems to monitor risk exposure.
• Analyze data to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and potential loss areas.
• Formulate and recommend risk mitigation strategies and control measures to management.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports and presentations for executive leadership and relevant committees.
