Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Senior Renewable Energy Analyst to join its fully remote team in South Africa. You will evaluate market trends, forecast energy production, and develop sophisticated financial models to support investment decisions in solar, wind and other renewables.

The role requires a quantitative degree, 5+ years of energy market analysis experience, and proficiency with Excel and energy modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on renewable energy technologies and policies.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for feasibility and returns on solar and wind projects.
