Placements24 is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer who can work remotely from anywhere. The role focuses on design, analysis, and optimization of complex electrical systems critical to our core technologies, with alignment to the Benoni region.

You will lead system design, perform performance modeling and risk assessment, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with hardware/software teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering.
• Expertise in power electronics, control systems, and signal integrity.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of complex electrical systems, considering scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Conduct in-depth system analysis, including performance modeling, failure mode analysis, and risk assessment.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing electrical system efficiency and power management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
• Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
