Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Early Childhood Educator to join a fully remote team delivering high‑quality online early learning for 0‑5 year olds from South Africa. The role emphasizes curriculum development, remote assessments, and engaging virtual sessions, with collaboration across a distributed educator network.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) with 5+ years’ experience in child development, online pedagogy, and using LMS

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with young children in educational settings.
• Experience in remote/online teaching or strong online pedagogy.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Meet, Slack) and LMS.
• Strong communication, organization and ability to work independently online.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement age‑appropriate, play‑based curriculum for 0‑5 years in a virtual setting.
• Conduct virtual assessments/observations and provide feedback to parents.
• Facilitate engaging online sessions (story times, arts, interactive lessons).
• Collaborate with remote educators to share best practices and ideas.
• Guide parents on home-based learning and milestones.
• Maintain open communication with parents and the educational team online.
• Stay updated on research/trends and apply to teaching practices.
• Uphold high standards of child safety in online interactions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of remote programs.
