Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on financial services or fintech.
• Proficiency with Python or R and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong experience with SQL, big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business problems into data science solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated ML models for predictive analytics, fraud detection, risk assessment, and customer segmentation.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define data science project requirements and deliverables.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical platforms using cloud technologies.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through visualizations and presentations.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the technical vision of the data science team.
